Microsoft recently completed a case study on our use of Windows/SQL Azure and how we use it to drive our social storefront app. We use Azure to drive the e-commerce system and data integration with Facebook, QuickBooks, PayPal, and Salesforce.com.
The storefronts that run using OneWay Commerce allow you to have a complete e-commerce system directly on Facebook. The backend servers and hosting of this system is really important to us, which is why we chose to work with Microsoft and Windows Azure. It’s definitely a tier-1 system and allows us to provide the maximum up time and performance for your social storefront.
